The Right to Food
The right to food is enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and yet around 36 million people die every year from starvation and related causes. The imminent Intergovernmental Working Group on the Right to Adequate Food, taking place March 24-26 at FAO headquarters in Rome, seems like a timely opportunity to share with you some of the excellent resources on this subject available through our database.

Famine update: Southern Africa and the Horn

International Year of Mountains
